The #27 is one version of the 808 car keys micro camera.  This seems to be a variant of the 808 #24.  The #27 has a different circuit board layout and the video byte rate is much higher.

Summary - Video is AVI, MJPG 720x480 30.000FPS, audio is PCM 256Kbps.  AVI is about 94MB per minute. Date time stamp is upper left, yellow on transparent.

150802 #27 - Corrupt AVI Video File

Summary: The #27 has a few problems. •  The video quality is lower than the best 808 480p cameras. •  The missing frame rate is about 27% (high). •  The AVI format is corrupt. The AVI corruption causes various problems.  • The AVI can't be imported into VirtualDub.  • Windows 7 will not make a thumbnail for the AVI.  • When the AVI is re-encoded to MP4 with HandBrake the MP4 has video and audio distortions. Here is one way to work around the AVI corruption problem.  Run the AVI file through Solveigmm Splitter, and then Handbrake.  Solveiggmm does not re-encode the file but it fixes some problems with the AVI wrapper.  HandBrake re-encodes the AVI to MP4.  The resultant MP4 cleans-up the AVI corruption problems, the MP4 size is small and reliably plays everywhere. Original file created with 808 #27.  6.8 MB.  SUNP0003.avi Processed with Solveigmm Splitter and HandBrake.  2.5 MB.  SUNP0003 Solveigmm, handbrake 640x480.mp4 ========== I did some tests on the SUNP0003.AVI file produced by the 808 #27.  This file can't be edited with Virtualdub 1.10.4.  Windows 7 explorer will not make a thumbnail for it. HandBrake - Re-encoding SUNP0003.AVI to MP4 using HandBrake.  Video and audio are both distorted. Solveigmm Splitter - When I processed SUNP0003.AVI through Solveigmm video splitter to "SUNP0003 Solveigmm.avi" (video not re-encoded, audio not re-encoded), the file becomes 38% larger.  It still can't be edited by Virtualdub, but Windows 7 explorer does make a thumbnail for it. Solveigmm Splitter, Handbrake - I re-encoded SUNP0003 solveigmm.avi to MP4 using HandBrake with re-scaled to 640x480.  That produced a very good MP4 file with the correct aspect ratio 1.33. File size is much smaller.

Elmar in Germany reported this new 808.  Version #27.  Sold on eBay.de as "Mini 808 Car Key Chain Micro Camera HD 720P H.264 Pocket Camcorder F5 ".  It is not 720p and not H.264.  More information coming.
